Abstract: The Co-Ni-P nanorods were fabricated by electrodeposition method by using the porous polycarbonate template. The investigation by mean of X-ray diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy indicated that samples were nanocrystalline clusters embedded in the amorphous base. The samples exhibited a room temperature ferromagnetism with the high magnetic anisotropy along the rod. The applied magnetic fields during the fabrication of the Co-Ni-P nanorods was strongly influenced by the magnetic properties. The MR/MS ratio and coercivity rapidly increased when the magnetic applied field changed from 0 to 0.21 T.

Abstract: This paper proposes a method based on linguistic word-formation rules and dictionaries for determining reduplicative words in Vietnamese. The key idea for identifying whether adjacent syllables in a text can form a reduplicative word based on its formation rules. For 2-syllable reduplicative words, this paper uses rules that describe the repeating and the opposing between pairs of initial consonants, rhymes and tones. Then the method is expanded to identify reduplicative words that have 3 or 4 syllables from 2-syllable ones for the Vietnamese word segmentation task. Experimental results showed that the F1-score was improved to 98.61% and that word segmentation errors were reduced significantly, 1.26%

Abstract: In this study, we attempted to enrich neutrophilic iron bacteria in a microbial fuel cell (MFC)-type reactor in order to develop a lithotrophic MFC system that can utilize ferrous iron as an inorganic electron donor and operate at neutral pHs. Electrical currents were steadily generated at an average level of 0.6mA (or 0.024mA cm-2 of membrane area) in reactors initially inoculated with microbial sources and operated with 20mM Fe2+ as the sole electron donor and 10ohm external resistance; whereas in an uninoculated reactor (the control), the average current level only reached 0.2mA (or 0.008mAcm-2 of membrane area). In an inoculated MFC, the generation of electrical currents was correlated with increases in cell density of bacteria in the anode suspension and coupled with the oxidation of ferrous iron. Cultivation-based and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis analyses both show the dominance of some Pseudomonas species in the anode communities of the MFCs. Fluorescent in-situ hybridization results revealed significant increases of neutrophilic iron-oxidizing bacteria in the anode community of an inoculated MFC. The results, altogether, prove the successful development of a lithotrophic MFC system with iron bacteria enriched at its anode and suggest a chemolithotrophic anode reaction involving some Pseudomonas species as key players in such a system. The system potentially offers unique applications, such as accelerated bioremediation or on-site biodetection of iron and/or manganese in water samples. Abstract: Emotions have been studied for a long time and results show that they play an important role in human cognitive functions. In fact, emotions play an extremely important role during the communication between people. And the human face is the most communicative part of the body for expressing emotions; it is recognized that a link exists between facial activity and emotional states. In order to make computer applications more believable and friendly, giving them the ability to recognize and/or express emotions are research fields which have been much focused on. Being able to perform these tasks, firstly, we need to have knowledge about the relationship between emotion and facial activity. Up to now, there have been proposed researches on this relationship. However, almost all these researches focused on analyzing the relationship without taking into account time factors. They analyzed the relationship but did not examined it in the time domain. In this paper, we propose a work on analyzing the relationship between emotions and facial activity in the time domain. Our goal is finding the temporal patterns of facial activity of six basic emotions (happy, sad, angry, fear, surprise, disgust). To perform this task, we analyzed a spontaneous video database in order to consider how facial activities which are related to the six basic emotions happen temporally. From there, we bring out the general temporal patterns for facial expressions of each of the six emotions.

Abstract: Time-integrated CP asymmetries in D 0 decays to the final states K - K + and π - π + are measured using proton-proton collisions corresponding to 3fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV. The D 0 mesons are produced in semileptonic b-hadron decays, where the charge of the accompanying muon is used to determine the initial flavour of the charm meson. The difference in CP asymmetries between the two final states is measured to be Δ ACP = ACP (K- K +) ACP (π- π+) = (+ 0.14 ± 0.16 (stat) ± 0.08 (syst)) %. A measurement of A CP (K - K +) is obtained assuming negligible CP violation in charm mixing and in Cabibbo-favoured D decays. It is found to be ACP (K- K+) = (- 0.06 ± 0.15 (stat) ± 0.10 (syst)) %, where the correlation coefficient between ΔA CP and A CP (K - K +) is ρ = 0.28. By combining these results, the CP asymmetry in the D 0 → π - π + channel is A CP (π - π +) = (-0.20 ± 0.19 (stat) ± 0.10 (syst))%. [Figure not available: see fulltext.]

Abstract: The isospin asymmetries of B → Kμ + μ - and B → K * μ + μ - decays and the partial branching fractions of the B 0 → K 0 μ + μ -, B + → K + μ + μ - and B + → K *+ μ + μ - decays are measured as functions of the dimuon mass squared, q 2. The data used correspond to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1 from proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The isospin asymmetries are both consistent with the Standard Model expectations. The three measured branching fractions favour lower values than their respective theoretical predictions, however they are all individually consistent with the Standard Model. Abstract: Decays of the form B(s) 0 → J/ψ KS 0h+h(′)- (h(′) = K, π) are searched for in proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb-1 recorded with the LHCb detector. The first observation of the B(s) 0 → J/ψ KS 0K±π∓ decay is reported, with significance in excess of 10 standard deviations. The B0→J/ψKs 0K+K- decay is also observed for the first time. The branching fraction of B0→J/ψKs 0π+π- is determined, to significantly better precision than previous measurements, using B0→ J/ψKs 0 as a normal-isation channel. Branching fractions and upper limits of the other B(s) 0→ J/ψKs 0h+h(′)- modes are determined relative to that of the B0→ /ψKs 0π+π- decay.
